I bought this product in August of 2010 after I started a hardwood floor installation in my kitchen. When I pulled up the old vinyl flooring at the beginning of the job, I noticed that the plywood underlayment in front of the old Frigidaire dishwasher was slightly damp. Further inspection revealed that the water inlet connection was leaking very slowly, and only when the dishwasher was running. I also found a leak at the heating element connection which would not have been easily repaired, so I removed the old one and went to purchase a new dishwasher. After some research, I decided on this Bosch model. I picked it up and installed it as soon as I got home so I could continue with the floor installation. I have owned about four other dishwashers and this is by far the quietest one and it also cleans the best. It is so quiet that I have a hard time hearing it when it’s running, and I am always amazed at how clean the dishes are. There are only two things that could have been designed better. The flatware tray, which is tucked in the inside right corner of the bottom rack, is out of the way and not easily accessible without pulling the bottom rack all the way out. It is also a bit smaller than most. The second thing is that all the controls are hidden on the top of the door. It would be nice to have a light or something to show that it is on, or at least when it is complete. Instead, they use an audible beep signal to let you know when it is done. These are very minor issues and if I were shopping for a new dishwasher again, I would buy this one all over again.
